I'm Daniel Rickenmann, and it has been my honor to serve as the Mayor of our great city.
Since moving to Columbia in 1988, I graduated from our University, started several businesses here, and raised my family here. While I'm immensely grateful to those who have led us in the past, I still believe that our best days are just ahead of us. For too long we've been content to merely survive, while our sister cities in other parts of South Carolina have advanced rapidly.
